As a lifestyle and unique safari experience provider, Chitubu Tours and Safari’s (hereafter referred to as “Chitubu”), work with accredited service providers (hereafter referred to as “tour operators”).
Tour passengers and/or accommodation guests (hereafter referred to as “visitors”) are carried subject to and in terms of our standard conditions of carriage, notwithstanding anything contained herein to the contrary
Below is an outline of Chitubu and its tour operators:
Tickets and/or accommodation bookings are not transferable and are valid for use only by the persons to whom they are issued and for the date and time shown thereon. The clients are responsible for ensuring that the correct information is displayed on the booking for accommodation and/or tours. Once the booking is completed and confirmation is issued, visitors are not allowed to request changes to itinerary, if accommodation and/or tours have been customized according to clients ‘ request.
In terms of Safari tours and/or day tours, we do not refund tickets, you are welcome to re-book your ticket for up to six months. No same day cancellations or ticket changes.
In terms of accommodation, Full payment is required 14 days prior to arrival.

Visitors are required to be at departure points, for tour bookings, 20 minutes before the time of departure shown on the ticket. Any seat not filled within 5 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time, will be offered for sale to stand-by passengers on a first come, first served basis.
Unless contracted to the contrary, and at the sole discretion of tour operators, each fare-paying passenger is permitted to take free of charge, at their own risk, one suitcase not a total mass not exceeding 20kg.
All luggage (e.g. handbag, nappy bag, etc.) must not exceed 20kg. Tour operators reserve the right to refuse the carriage of luggage which does not comply with these conditions. Large items must be carried in the luggage compartment and loaded only by passengers.
Unaccompanied luggage will not be carried. Tour operators are not responsible whatsoever for loss or damage to passenger’s luggage, hand luggage, or personal effects. Tour operators provide passenger insurance. However, insurance of the passenger’s property or luggage is the passenger’s responsibility.
Smoking is prohibited on all coaches and accommodation unless otherwise indicated
No unaccompanied children under the age of 12 years will be carried.
Chitubu Tour operators reserve the right to refuse the consumption of alcohol on its vehicles, or not to undertake the conveyance of any passengers who enters the vehicle whilst intoxicated.
No animals will be carried, with the exception of a trained guide-dog accompanying a blind person.
Check-in is welcome any time from 14h00 onwards. Guests are requested to kindly inform the reservations team if they require a late check-in.
Departure Times – Guests are kindly requested to vacate their accommodation by 10h00 on the day of their departure.
By booking a tour package and/or accommodation through Chitubu Tour’s and Safari’s, I acknowledge and accept this indemnity clause, by participating in Chitubu Tour packages voluntarily and at my own risk.
I am aware that risks exist and may arise during the tour (including, but not limited to, the hazards of traveling by bus, coach, vehicle, or other means in isolated or mountainous terrain, away from medical facilities and subject to the forces of nature) by which death, injury or illness to me or damage or loss to my property may occur.
I accept and assume all the risks of participating in a tour package and/or accommodation package. Further, I (and my heirs assigns, executors and/or administrators) fully and finally release Chitubu Tours and Safaris, its associates, employees, agents and contractors from any and/or all responsibility or liability for any loss of or damage to any of my property, or any injury or death to me arising in any manner whatsoever (including by way of negligence of any other person or entity) out of my participation in the Tour.
I have read and accept the terms and conditions of participating in a tour package booked through Chitubu Tours and Safaris, which are available at www.chitubu.africa In addition, Chitubu’ s terms and conditions do not supersede Chitubu’ s tour operators’ terms and conditions. Instead Chitubu’ s terms and conditions, must be read in conjunction with the tour operators’ terms and conditions.
Tour operators will make every effort to keep to the current published timetable, but services may be affected by road, weather or other conditions beyond Tour operators ‘s control. Tour operators will therefore not accept liability for any costs incurred by passengers under such circumstances.
Tour operators makes every effort to ensure connections between its services where appropriate. However, no liability can be accepted for loss or damage caused by any failure to make these conditions or those perceived to exist with other transport operators. Chitubu tour operators reserve the right to refuse to undertake the conveyance of or the continued conveyance of any passenger(s).
Tour operators reserve the right to operate substitute vehicles of a different standard from those advertised.
Visitors are not permitted to travel on the tour vehicles between depots or other parking places and terminal points.
